Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Delta, Agbor, Nigeria, is one of the founding Faculties of UNIDEL as a citadel of learning.

The basic mission of the Faculty is to foster understanding and integration into the rapidly changing “borderless world’’ with the spirit of self-reliance
The major objective of the faculty is to develop students that have basic understanding of social problems, the ability to objectively analyse socio-economic and political problems with the aim of creating an enabling environment for a desirable behavioural change, that enhances development of inclusive values. These values must be in consonance with national growth and development.
OurFaculty of Social Sciences is made up of five Departments that run nine programmes. Each of these programmes contribute to the diverse field of human behaviour with reverence to the University’s Philosopy and Objectives.
